My Morning Yoga Flow for Fibromyalgia & Daily Grounding

I'm sharing the yoga poses I personally do every morning after my shower, right on my mat in my home. These poses help stretch out my back, wake up my body, and clear my mind for the day ahead. If you live with chronic pain or just need a gentle stretch and moment of grounding, this is for you.

Start your flow with these poses:

1. Cat & Cow Stretch – The best warm-up for the spine. Start on all fours. Arch your back while looking up (Cow), then round your back while tucking your chin (Cat). Repeat 10–15 times.

2. Child’s Pose – Restful and restorative. Sit back onto your heels, stretch your arms forward, and breathe deeply.

3. Downward Facing Dog – Press your hands and feet into the ground, forming a triangle shape. Stretch those hamstrings and calves.

4. Triangle Pose – Stand tall, spread feet wide, and reach for your ankle while extending the opposite arm upward. Great for stretching your sides and lower back.

5. Bridge Pose – Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat. Lift your hips towards the ceiling. Strengthens your core and back.

6. Reclining Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose – Use a yoga strap or towel to gently pull your extended leg toward you.

7. Supine Spinal Twist – Lie on your back, bring one knee across your body. Keep your opposite arm extended for a full-body twist and release.

8. Savasana Variation – Lie flat on your back with a towel or bolster under your knees. Breathe deeply and fully relax.

Tools I Use Every Morning:

Neck Cloud Cervical Traction Device – Helps relieve neck pain, headaches, and restore neck alignment in just 10 minutes. With the Neck Cloud, you’ll feel the difference in literally 15 seconds. It gently stretches your cervical spine and eases pressure almost instantly. It feels amazing-like your neck can finally breathe again. https://a.co/d/aFjPDUq

Day 1 Fitness Foam Roller- This is the only foam roller I use, and it's a firm one. Perfect for deeper muscle release in my glutes, hamstrings, back, and shoulders. When I roll out on this hard foam roller, it even cracks my back-similar to getting a chiropractic adjustment. It’s such a satisfying release.

Take your time with each pose, focus on your breath, and give your body exactly what it needs each day. Pair it with spa music, or your favorite worship playlist, and make it a sacred moment of movement and healing.
