You don’t need a new city, a dramatic haircut, or a 30-day juice cleanse to reset your life.

Sometimes, the real transformation starts with cleaning out your junk drawer…

your house…

your car…

your purse…

even that one gym bag you’ve been pretending not to see.

This isn’t just about organizing your space...It’s about taking your power back.

One room at a time. One drawer at a time. One “why did I keep this?” at a time.

Let’s clean up the chaos and make room for peace, purpose, and the woman you’re becoming.

Turn on your worship music, spa music, or a cleaning playlist-and let’s go!!

---

KITCHEN: Where Nourishment Meets Neglect>

  • Clean out every single drawer and cabinet

  • Toss old pots, rusted baking sheets, random gadgets you haven’t touched in years

  • Wash all the dishes

  • Deep clean the countertops like you’re prepping for a cooking show

  • Deep clean all appliances-yes, that means inside and outside of your fridge, microwave, toaster oven, stove, coffee maker, and anything else that’s been through it

  • Clean light switches and cabinet handles

  • Sweep and mop the floors

  • Light a candle-let the air feel new

  • Hang fresh, clean towels on the stove and by the sink

  • Add a bright bowl of fruit for color and life

Bonus: Bake cookies or banana bread and make your house smell like healing

---

BATHROOM: Clean Space, Clear Mind>

  • Organize every single drawer-no more chaos when you open them

  • Toss expired products and buy fresh ones that actually make you feel good

  • Deep clean the toilet, sink, shower, and the floors

  • Wash that shower curtain-or treat yourself to a new one that makes you smile

  • Clean baseboards, air vent, and light switches

  • Wipe down and organize your vanity if you have one- make it feel like a mini spa

  • Lay down fresh rugs or treat yourself to a new cozy set

  • Hang up fresh, fluffy towels that actually feel good on your skin

  • Light a candle and say, “This is a room of restoration”

Pro tip: Buy a towel warmer. Thank me later.

---

BEDROOM: The Sanctuary You Deserve>

  • Wash your bedding

  • Clean your ceiling fan

  • Windex and dust every surface: dresser, nightstand, TV, remotes

  • Clear off your nightstands and only keep what brings peace

  • Clean out your nightstand and dresser drawers-remove the junk and reset your space with care

  • Wipe down switches, door handles, and baseboards

  • Place a diffuser by your bed with a calming essential oil like lavender

Make it soft. Safe. Sacred.

---

CLOSET: The Identity Checkpoint>

  • Take everything out- yes, every hanger, every bin, every shoe

  • Vacuum, sweep, or mop the entire closet before putting anything back

  • Only hang up the clothes you’ve actually worn in the last 6 months-let go of the guilt pieces and the “someday” stuff

  • Clean out old shoes and bags, and organize shoes in good condition

  • Hang clothes by color, season or your current vibe

  • Organize your dresser drawers:

    One for pajamas

    One for tees

    One for bras, socks, panties

  • Put together a few go-to outfits so getting dressed feels easy

---

LIVING ROOM: The Energy Hub>

  • Dust and Windex all surfaces: coffee tables, shelves, TV, frames

  • Clean the ceiling fan

  • Vacuum the couch cushions, then sweep and mop underneath

  • Clean light switches, door handles, and baseboards

  • Light a few candles and soften the lights

  • Add fresh books or a beautiful stack of magazines on the coffee table

  • Place a plant or bouquet of flowers in the room-let life live here

  • Open the blinds-let natural light flood in

Bonus tip: Set up an essential oil diffuser with something grounding like eucalyptus or citrus

---

  • Clean off your entire desk

  • Dust and Windex the surfaces, clean the fan, and dust off your books

  • Vacuum or mop the floors

  • Wipe down switches and baseboards

  • Organize your journals, pens, tech, and files

  • Clean all air intakes and bathroom vents

  • Dust switches, handles, and light plates around the home

Fresh air = fresh energy

---

PET AREA: Because Their Peace Matters Too>

  • Thoroughly clean out the litter box or dog crate

  • Refill it with fresh litter or add a soft blanket or dog bed

  • Clean and refill food and water bowls with fresh water

  • Wipe down the toy bin and give the toys a quick clean

  • Schedule a bath or grooming session-at home or at the groomer

  • Check that they’re up to date on shots, flea meds, and vet visits

Give them a big hug...they’re part of your healing too

---

YOUR CAR: Your Mobile Sanctuary>

  • Take everything out-trash, receipts, cups, wrappers

  • Vacuum all floors and seats

  • Wipe down the dashboard, cup holders, mirrors, doors, and windows

  • Clean the trunk and restock essentials (umbrella, wipes, charger, etc.)

  • Add a car freshener or essential oil diffuser clip

  • Run it through the wash or detail it yourself at home

Your mind rides in that car. Make it feel like peace.

---

PURSE / GYM BAG: Yes, Even That

  • Dump it all out

  • Toss trash, expired gum, and anything sticky or crusty

  • Wipe the inside with a disinfecting cloth

  • Restock it with what you actually need-keep it light

  • Organize your cards, keys, meds, hair ties, etc.

  • Same goes for your gym bag-fresh towel, refill water bottle, clean gear

---

LITTLE ADDITIONS THAT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE>

  • Buy an air purifier-clean air clears your head

  • Wash or replace air purifier filters regularly

  • Add an essential oil diffuser in your master bedroom and living room

  • Use DoTerra oils (you can find them on Amazon)-they’re pure, powerful, and the best for healing vibes and heavenly scents

  • Invest in a towel warmer for the bathroom-trust, it’s a love language

  • Add soft lighting, warm blankets, and intentional touches that make each room feel lived in and loved

You’re Not Just Cleaning… You’re Reclaiming

As you let go of clutter, watch what shifts inside you.

More space.

More clarity.

More you.

Let every drawer you clean be a declaration:

> I am not who I was.

I’m stepping into order.

Into peace.

Into purpose.

It’s not about perfection-it’s about alignment.

Then when it’s all done?

Take a hot shower.

Put on that fresh robe.

Give yourself an at-home facial.

You’ve earned it.

You’ve poured into your space-now pour into you.

And don’t worry… the next blog has your step-by-step guide to the ultimate at-home facial + spa day. Stay tuned.
